Kamyab Kisan opens the Rabi window for seed and fertiliser support

The Kamyab Kisan input window for Rabi opened this week with a simpler rule: if you farm 12.5 acres or less and your land record is current, you can apply. Tenants with a written agreement are included in Punjab and Sindh; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is still aligning its tenant list.

Support is in kind — authorised seed and fertiliser through listed dealers — not cash. Officials said last year’s leakage through informal traders is the reason.
