Sehat Sahulat is going nationwide. The fine print changed too.

The Sehat Sahulat Card is being standardised so that a family moving from Peshawar to Karachi does not lose cover at the provincial border. That is the headline. The quieter change is an outpatient pilot in 12 districts, which will test whether the programme can pay for clinic visits without being overwhelmed.

What is covered now

Inpatient treatment at empaneled hospitals remains the core benefit. Secondary care limits have been aligned. Tertiary care still requires a referral. Cosmetic procedures and a short list of excluded conditions are unchanged.

If you already have a card

You do not need to reapply. Confirm your status at a NADRA or Sehat kiosk if you have changed address. Carry your CNIC. Hospitals file the claim; you should not be asked for a deposit on a covered admission.
