An autumn school vaccination campaign will expand to 40 additional districts, covering measles-rubella for younger children and HPV for a defined adolescent group. Provincial education departments have been told that a consent form must go home — not sit in a staff-room drawer.
Parents can opt out in writing. Officials said last year’s confusion came from schools that treated silence as consent. That rule has been reversed.
